Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions to individuals with ASD
- Collect data on client progress and behavior using specified methods and tools
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans
- Collaborate with BCBAs and other team members to analyze data and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Support individuals in developing social, communication, and daily living skills
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation and records
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of behavior management principles and techniques
- Familiarity with special education practices and strategies
- Experience in implementing behavioral therapy interventions
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on observations
- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals with ASD
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
